 A favourite in Namaqualand. We go out from Springbok just before sunset and drive out to the Goegap nature reserve. We have special permission to enter after dark. First we offer a glass of sherry to enjoy with the sunset and then we make a fire. After we have had a meal, vegetarian or not, we spend some time discussing the stars and how everything fits together. We look at all the constellations visable and where they would be visable.
