BOOKING CONDITIONS " Booking for tour: Decide on the tour you want to go by either discussing it with the operator or by selecting one of the planned itineraries. Contact the operator by e-mail, Click HERE to send e-mail , to discuss the tour that you would like Everybody older than eighteen years of age must sign theindemnity forms as well as the parents or legal caretakers of children under the age of eighteen. It is hereby assumed that everybody read and understood the conditions of these tours and is bound thereby. " Payment: A deposit of 50% is required upon acceptance of quotation form. The final invoice would be made up and presented before final payment is to be made. The client will be notified of changes of the original itinerary. The deposit is only refundable when the applicant has gone through the cancellation process in writing 30 days or more before commencement of tour. Thereafter if the tourist can provide a suitable replacement he may be refunded. The full amount of the tour must be paid no les than 30 days before commencement of tour, unless otherwise specified by the operator. Bookings at short notice will only be accepted with full payment for tour. If full payment is not made in due time the tour will be treated as cancelled. " Authority and code of conduct: The tourist guide will have the authority to change itineraries and tour plans in situations where the safety of the tourists are endangered, his decision will be final. The tourist will adhere to a reasonable code of conduct at all times during the tour. The consumption of alcohol during the tour is strongly discouraged. The legal alcohol limits in terms of the National road traffic act of 1996 will remain applicable. If any tourist becomes a nuisance or danger to the rest of the group the tourist guide may ask him/her to leave the tour without any liability to Virosatours. The tourist will be obliged to depart immediately and no refund will be made. " Itineraries: In the case of unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of Virosatours itineraries can be changed for the safety of tourists. Virosatours will not be held responsible for any loss or miss happening due to this. Itineraries are flexible and routes may also be changed to get to certain attractions. " Health: It is the tourist's obligation to ensure that he or she is medically fit and in good health to undertake the tour that he or she booked for. It is also the tourist's responsibility to make sure that he or she is in the possession of any medication/medical equipment that may be required. " Border crossings: The tourist would be responsible for all his or her border control requirements, be it passports or visas or any related compliance of the respective authorities. " Complaints: Should any tourist have any complaint he or she must inform the tourist guide in order to get the matter rectified. Otherwise the tourist should make a written complaint to Virosatours as soon as possible. Any complaints received more than 35 days after the tour will not be considered. " Baggage and insurance: All baggage and personal belongings of the tourist stays his or her responsibility for the duration of the tour. The tourist's personal vehicle stays the responsibility of the tourist. It is the responsibility of the tourist to ensure that he or she has adequate insurance, medical, short term and travel. Virosatours will not be held responsible for any loss whatsoever or from any nature to personal vehicle or equipment or belongings. Medical insurance is of utmost importance. " Indemnity and liability: It is the understanding of Virosatours that any person that hands in an application form to go on a tour is aware of the risks involved by undergoing a four wheel drive expedition into the wilderness and that they do so at their own risk. All tourists must read and sign an indemnity form. Anybody that refuses to do so will not be allowed to undergo a tour with Virosatours. " Cancellations: Virosatours reserves the right to cancel any tour due to unforeseen circumstances without prior notice. Should Virosatours cancel any tour the tourist will be refunded in full. " Price increases: Virosatours reserves the right increase itinerary prices without prior notice due to fluctuations in fuel prices, entry fees to game parks or any other applicable rates. You will not be affected if your deposit is paid in full. " Photographic material: Virosatours reserves the right to use any photographs and films taken during the tour for advertising material in brochures or internet web address, without obtaining consent or without payment to the tourist. " Severability: The tourist must agree not to allege the unenforceability of these conditions or part thereof. In the case that any competent authority finds that any portion of these conditions is unenforceable, the remaining portion will remain in full force and effect. |
